Wagon wheels a-rollin'

4 of 12 for 2012.  Out for a designated walk in Alloa with Stephanie and David, ending up down at the sorting office.  Evidently a rather small horse was required to pull a rather large load.

5 of 12 for 2012.  Following Bryan and Marlene's advice resulted in a delicious duck dinner, with a side of tartiflette.   Looking forward to trying Mum's marmalade,  even though Stephanie has extolled the virtues of the marrow and ginger.

Transported to another era

3 of 12 for 2012.  Stephanie and David are confirmed museum-goers and, having rejected Kelvingrove and the Burrell Collection, we settled on the rejuvenated Transport Museum.  The dance dresses were lovely

as was the Lowry (Cranes and Ships, Glasgow Docks) which couldn't be photographed head on because of the glass door of the display case.

Eil had a go on the Sinclair C5

and learnt a bit of social history

while we worked on Shona's social graces.

Apparently glasses are not just for the taking.
