Sibling rivalry shelved

The truce lasted for the duration of The Circle Of Life!

Burns Cup Winner, 2010

For a limited time only....

4 double - pointed needles

I think not! Café, gâteau, tricot chez Cathy confirmed that only the most foolhardy attempt to knit with four needles, and as for eschewing double knitting in favour of wire and beads....

Spoilt for choice

Am happy to report that the bootee obsession is now a thing of the past. However, knitting isn't. Spent Saturday afternoon learning how to knit a daisy and have a long way to go before Petra Poodle is ready to make an appearance.

My first bootee takes shape in the cinema on board the Stena Ferry, en route from Stranraer to Belfast.

Springtime in Paris

So much for the big thaw. Damp, wet snow on and off all day but most of it has gone already. Roll on the spring.

Do you think they were expecting snow on the moon?
